Philips Hue White Ambiance GU10 LED bulb – controllable via Bluetooth and ZigBee


The White Ambiance bulb emits white light in all shades. From daylight, bright lighting in the study to warm white, dimmed cosy lighting in the living room, the bulb suits every ambience.

A particular highlight is its flexible, contemporary operation. The bulb can be controlled directly with the Philips Hue Bluetooth app on a smartphone or tablet – without any additional hardware. Another option is the Hue dimmer switch (see accessories). Full integration into any ZigBee-based smart home system is also possible via a bridge and router. Any conventional light with a GU10 socket can thus be turned into a smart device that can be controlled locally via voice command (Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit) or remotely, for example with the Hue smartphone app.

Special features/compatibility:

- Controllable with the Hue dimmer switch (see accessories)

- Can be controlled with the corresponding Hue app and Hue Bluetooth app

- Compatible with existing Philips Hue systems and other ZigBee-based systems such as those from Innogy, Bosch, Telekom (Magenta) and Busch-Jäger

- Voice control possible with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit (Siri) and Google Assistant

- Dimmable via app, voice command and dimmer switch

- Smart lighting control Option a: ZigBee integration via bridge and router, such as the Philips Hue Bridge (see accessories); this enables control on site or on the go via the Hue app (free for Android and iOS) or on site via voice command via Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit (Siri) and Google Assistant.

- Smart lighting control option b: Direct control on site via Bluetooth using the free Hue Bluetooth app; this requires a smartphone or tablet running Android 7 or iOS 11 or higher and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 4.0 or higher. A router, Wi-Fi or data connection is not necessary. If using more than ten lamps, the use of a bridge is recommended. A lamp can store connections with up to 15 smartphones/tablets; the individual settings are assigned individually.
