Designer table lamp Birdy in retro styleBirdy's birth dates back to 1952, when the Norwegian designer Birger Dahl (1916-1998) created the Birdy lamp series. Clear geometric shapes without decorative details and flourishes are Dahl's trademark. In Birdy, this means that the shade consists of a simple aluminium cone and is held by a slender frame with two practical joints. The table lamp, which is perfectly suitable as a desk lamp, is adjustable once at the shade and once in the middle of the frame. Products in the typical 50s and 60s style like the Birdy table lamp are trendy again nowadays. The purism that underlies this style and especially Birger Dahl's style is the best basis for the product to look modern at all times.
