Dimmable LED floor lamp Lightwire with fine iron grid


The simple, vertically running iron rods of the LED ceiling floodlight Lightwire are arranged in a slightly biconcave shape and end in the round, matt black base ring. Due to the uneven gathering together, the Lightwire floor luminaire surprises the observer by showing that both rings are almost identical in size at the top and bottom. In the middle, on the second subdivision of the rods, at a practical armchair height, there is a touch dimmer which allows easy regulation of the brightness. Bright, warm white LEDs round off this model.

The floor lamp Lightwire (means: light wire), created by the designer duo Donegani & Lauda, reminds with its fine, black rods of the structure of the Bertoia chair, from where the makers got their inspiration. In addition, it was the desire to create a purist, dematerialised light source. The previous Lightwire version had a glass at the head of the lamp, which led down to the bottom, including the light source. This new feature has now been further reduced and replaced by small, bright LEDs.
