Drum S - LED pendant lamp with clear glass shade and opal inner reflector - suspension on chrome-plated steel tubeThe shade of the LED pendant lamp Drum S consists of mouth-blown, transparent glass in a timeless cylindrical shape and a conically shaped inner reflector of opal white polycarbonate sitting inside. The latter causes a mildly into the room radiating basic lighting to the sides and a direct, directed lighting downwards. The shade in combination with a suspension made of a chrome-plated steel tube, which can be variably shortened during installation, makes the Drum S LED pendant luminaire the perfect light source for hallways. The installed LEDs are integrated in a housing made of shiny aluminum and convince with a very good color rendering.Other advantages of the LED pendant luminaire Drum S are the shade, which can be removed without tools, the possibility of control via an external dimmer (TRIAC) and the LED unit, which can be replaced after defect or end of life, making the luminaire an energy-efficient and sustainable light source.Drum S is a design by Jean-Marc da Costa. He is not only a designer, but also a co-founder of serien.lighting. Founded in 1985, the German-based company designs and manufactures intelligent lighting solutions that feature sophisticated construction methods for targeted control of the lighting effect and a reduced-modern design.
