Hanami designer pendant light – an extraordinary decorative element with a luxurious flair

The stylish Hanami pendant light was designed by product designer Adriano Rachele. The light captivates with its hand-pleated flowers made of Lentiflex® and can provide stylish lighting anywhere. The technopolymer Lentiflex® used is a plastic developed specifically by Slamp that makes it possible to replicate the reflections of a diamond. The light can be used both in private living spaces and in public environments, such as hotels, restaurants, galleries and museums, as a light source and eye-catcher.

Designer Adriano Rachele studied product design and began his career in the Research & Development department at Slamp, where he still works today with great success. He was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2012 for the design of the Veli ceiling light. His designs are always motivated by the idea of creating objects that combine technology, functionality and innovation with tradition and charm, while retaining their own character.

The Italian design company Slamp was founded in the early 1990s by Roberto Ziliani. The company attaches great importance to high-quality materials, workmanship and quality in the manufacture of its lights. Accordingly, the lighting manufacturer developed an exclusive and specially patented plastic that is particularly robust yet very lightweight. Sustainability has always been an important factor in Slamp's production. That is why the Italian lighting manufacturer has been a member of an initiative since 2020 that donates processing waste from lights to companies that use it to build nesting boxes for bumblebees.
