Italian designer LED pendant lamp La Belle Étoile made of Cristalflex®.


When designing the LED pendant lamp La Belle Étoile, designer Adriano Rachele was inspired by the graceful turns of a dancer. The black-transparent shade exudes a graceful lightness with its curved and bent technopolymer plastic elements. The installed light-emitting diodes shine with warm white light and provide a pleasant and cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. In the pendant luminaire, beguiling design is combined with modern LED technology to create a lighting work of art. The semi-transparent surface made of Cristalflex®, a technopolymer specially developed and patented by Slamp, ensures a positive influence on the lighting effect. In addition, this plastic is particularly flexible, so that the processing of the material allows designers a lot of freedom in the creative process.

The designer Adriano Rachele is one of the young talents at Slamp. After graduating in industrial design, he began his career in 2007 in the "Research & Development" department where he still works successfully today. His designs are characterized by soft and curvy shapes that focus on craftsmanship. Since 2010 he has been recognized as a young talent in the Italian design world and in 2012 he was awarded the Red Dot Design Award for his ceiling lamp Veli.

The Italian lighting manufacturer Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani. For the production of the designer lamps mainly specially developed and specially patented technopolymers such as Cristalflex®, Opalflex® and Lentiflex® are used.
