Reliable motion sensor and convenient control via app - LED path light GL 80 SC


GL 80 SC from Steinel is a versatile path light for garden, outdoor area, driveway or house entrance. Thanks to intelligent sensor technology and the ability to control it with a smartphone or tablet via a free app, GL 80 SC offers a wide range of conveniently adjustable functions. STEINEL Connected Lighting enables convenient operation and networked lighting thanks to Bluetooth technology.

The sensor uses high-frequency technology and reliably detects only human movement at a distance of 1 to 5 m and a detection angle of 160 °. The nocturnal outdoor area can be discreetly illuminated with an adjustable night light for 10 or 30 min or permanently. When triggered, the light output is gradually ramped up and ramped down at the end of the 5 s to 15 min lighting period. This conveys an elegant as well as eye-saving effect. When used with a mains switch, a four-hour continuous light is also available. The infinitely variable response threshold is 2 to 2,000 lux of ambient brightness.
