L 840 SC Smart LED outdoor wall light with iHF sensor, controllable via Bluetooth and app
The elegant design of the L 840 SC sensor-equipped LED outdoor wall light from the STEINEL Connected Lighting series enhances any house façade. Moreover, at first glance, it is not apparent what smart technology lies behind the simple façade. The L 840 SC LED outdoor wall light features energy-efficient LEDs that emit a warm white light upwards and downwards. The technology is encased in UV-resistant plastic, finished here in a sophisticated anthracite that perfectly complements the diffusers in simple white.
The invisible iHF sensor is not visible from the outside. The motion detector has a range of 5m and detects only human movement patterns. All other movements, such as small animals or leaves rustling in the wind, are cleverly ignored. To achieve this, the iHF sensor emits electromagnetic waves and receives their echo. When a person moves within the detection range, this change in the echo is detected and a command is sent to switch the light on.
All functions of the L 840 SC LED outdoor wall light can be controlled via a smartphone or tablet. This is done via a Bluetooth connection and using the appropriate, free STEINEL Smart Remote app, which is available for Android or iOS. This app also enables additional functions, such as grouping multiple lights, an extended range setting, or adjustable main light and night light levels.
