General note on luminaires for recessed floor mounting:

To enjoy recessed floor lights for a long time, effective drainage and a suitable gravel bed should be provided for drainage. Do not install recessed floor luminaires in hollows or depressions - no standing water should collect on the luminaire (and in the recessing box).
