Acorn hanging light with two glass lampshades in a metallic grey


The two-bulb version of the Acorn hanging light from the Danish manufacturer UMAGE combines two glass lampshades in the shape of acorns with a cannonball suspension system.

The designer Jacob Rudbeck was inspired by real acorns when designing the lampshades. The form consists of a cap with a glossy steel finish, which surrounds the downward-facing socket, as well as a glass lampshade in a discreet smoky grey colour.

The central ceiling canopy has the round form of the eponymous cannonball. The textile cables leading out from it are also held by decentralised canopies. Choosing their position on installation determines the distance between the lampshades. The cables can also be pulled through the canopies so that the height can be adjusted to suit the table in your newly decorated living room, for example.
