Metallic grey hanging light Acorn with three bulbs and a cannonball suspension system


Inspired by the natural, simple beauty of the acorn, the Danish designer Jacob Rudbeck has created a glass hanging light for the manufacturer UMAGE, which blends well with modern and Scandinavian style rooms.

The smoky grey lampshade has a glossy metallic cap just like an actual acorn. This covers the socket, which should be fitted with a filament style bulb in order to intensify Acorn’s ambience.

A cannonball suspension system functions as the ceiling canopy. It is made of silicone and shaped like a sphere, as the name suggests. The cables can be guided through three decentralised ceiling canopies, which enable a variable positioning and suspension of the lampshades.
