Hanging lamp Acorn with a white cap and a polished copper socket


The hanging lamp Acorn is characterised by very atmospheric emitted light. It is the perfect light source for use over a table or a kitchen counter, for example.

The hanging lamp gets its name from its creative origin. This is of course the acorn, the fruit of the oak tree. It was designed by the Danish designer Jacob Rudbeck, who is inspired by nature, which he considers to be the best graphic designer in the world.

He created the rounded form of the lampshade with a white silicone cap, clear glass walls and a core made of polished copper, which symbolises the fruit. The metal gives the emitted light a cosy lustre, so that the lighting has a cosy effect all around.

Rudbeck designed Acorn for the Danish lighting company UMAGE, which set itself the objective of the further development of Scandinavian design with respect to its products and pays attention to careful craftsmanship, taking environmental criteria into consideration. The result is sustainably attractive lights.
