Carmina pendant light with an unusual lampshade design


The lampshade of this pendant light is made from polypropylene and polycarbonate. Its design, with its calm, flowing lines, is intended as a tribute to the undulating dune landscape along Denmark’s coastline. With its Nordic-minimalist design and its soft, cosy glow, Carmina enhances any naturally designed interior.

The Carmina pendant light was created in collaboration between the two designers Søren Ravn Christensen – the creative developer and co-founder of the Danish lighting company UMAGE – and Anders Klem, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts/School of Design in 2013 and is passionately dedicated to the development of modern lights.

UMAGE is committed to continuously advancing the history of Scandinavian design. The company combines aesthetics, simplicity and functionality in its designs, complemented by meticulous craftsmanship.
