The Clava pendant light – a retro look combined with Scandinavian elegance


Crafted from aluminium, the Clava pendant light is sure to catch the eye even when switched off. Its glossy surface features a wide, all-round perforated pattern through which the bulb gently shimmers. Thanks to this pattern, the lighting effect is both atmospheric and cosy. When switched on, an exciting pattern is cast into the room, enhanced by the direct beam of light directed downwards.

This retro-style light fitting is timeless and will always remain modern. Thanks to its rather delicate yet striking appearance, the pendant light can be easily integrated into many spaces and really makes a statement, particularly when combined with other Clava lights above bar counters or kitchen units. The round, spherical suspension system in black provides a subtle, understated finish that does not detract from the beauty of the lampshade.

The designer, Søren Ravn Christensen, is a co-founder of the Danish designer lighting company UMAGE. They have made it their mission to produce timeless, high-quality lights characterised by aesthetics, simplicity and functionality.
