White Silvia medium floor lamp with an extravagantly designed lampshade


The Silvia medium floor lamp is not merely a source of light; thanks to its unusual design, it also serves as a decorative interior accessory that adds a very special touch to any living space.

The lampshade – a creation by the Vita Design Team at the Danish lighting manufacturer Vita Copenhagen – consists of triangular plastic panels that have been assembled into a structure with a very organic appearance. The light is emitted both upwards and downwards, as well as through the gaps in the lampshade’s structure, illuminating the surroundings with a soft, cosy glow.

Combined with the slender floor stand designed by the young Danish designer Anders Klem, the result is a floor lamp that suits a wide range of interior styles. The Silvia medium floor lamp is switched on and off via a decorative brass switch located beneath the socket.

For the lighting company Vita Copenhagen, the aim of its product range is to further develop Scandinavian design, complementing its attractive purism and functionality with meticulous craftsmanship.
