Product description

A piece of furniture and a lamp - that's the LED outdoor light Empty A piece of furniture? A Lamp? Why not just have both? - That's probably what the Spanish manufacturer Vibia thought when creating the "Furniture meets Light" concept, which also includes the LED outdoor light Empty. The body of the light is made of polymer concrete, which protects the permanently installed LED technology from wind and weather on the one hand and provides a stable seating or storage surface on the other, as the concrete can bear loads of up to 150 kg. This makes Empty an absolute highlight in terms of function and design - a place to sit during the day and an intense light in the evening. The design of this sophisticated light was created by Xuclà, who was honoured with the Best of Year Award in 2015. The designer has been creating outdoor lighting for Vibia for several years, which is consistently characterised by architectural and minimalist features.
