Direct and indirect LED pendant light Silent Field 2.0 With its irregular round indentations that make Silent Field 2.0 look like the surface of a celestial body covered in craters, this pendant light is an absolute eye-catcher even when switched off. When switched on, it emits both direct and indirect light. The pendant light is also made of sound-absorbing material. This was based on the frequency of the human voice in order to support clear acoustics during conversations. Silent Field 2.0 blends harmoniously into a wide variety of living styles and is ideal as table lighting, for example - externally dimmable (push dim) Silent Field 2.0 was designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Laura Pessoni for the Italian design lighting manufacturer Artemide, which stands for the highest quality and sells its products in numerous countries. Carlotta de Bevilacqua is a designer, architect, teacher and entrepreneur and conducts intensive research in the field of light. She has designed many award-winning products for the companies Artemide and Danese Milano, where she is also involved in their management. Laura Pessoni, a product designer, lighting and interior designer living in Mite, studied industrial design at the Milan Polytechnic and has been working with Carlotta de Bevilacqua since 2008.
